Just like its smaller buggy tyre brother, the VTEC 1/8 Truggy “LP” Competition tyres are based on a special compound of high-quality rubber which combines high grip with low tire wear.

The all new Truggy “LP” tyres have been developed through long and extensive testing and are offered in 3 different tread designs with different compound hardness for any tyre of racing situation. High-grip, low-grip, dusty, blue groove, qualifying, long mains, wet, Astroturf or indoor conditions, the VTEC 1/8 Truggy “LP” Competition Tyre Line can do them all!

Truggy LP stands for “Low Profile”. The tyre is specially designed with a lower sidewall for more direct response and higher cornering speed.

Sunday 31st May brought an end to the IRMCC - Pembroke(Malta) National Championship 2008-2009. DHI Racing team driver Gustav Cuschieri took the overall 1/10 nitro championship driving his X-Ray NT-1.

Overall second went to Ian Micallef and Karl Fenech finished 3rd, both drivers driving also NT-1s. The NT-1’s competitive and durability qualities determined the total dominance on the championship.

DHI Racing team driver Carmelo Portelli driving his GS Racing CL-1 ADVANCED to victory in the buggy class at the GMCA Mega Event in Gozo on Sunday 17th May 2009. This was the second overall win for Team GS Racing in the buggy class this year. Carmelo also won the GMCA National Buggy Championship 2008-2009.

A special mention goes to Mario Sciacia who finished overall 4th running also a GS Racing CL-1 Advanced.
